Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
Today, September 27, the Memorial of St. Vincent de Paul, I will be installed as the Bishop of New Ulm, MN. I want to thank you for the opportunity to serve you over the past eight years. You have been profoundly patient, and I have been profoundly blessed as I embark on a new beginning in Minnesota. I carry the life experience, lessons learned, and wisdom you have taught me to my new assignment. Thank you so much, Quyana Cukneq!
Also on this day, the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Christophe Pierre, would like to announce that Archbishop Andrew Bellisario of the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau will serve as the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Fairbanks until a new bishop is installed. (See attached letter)
