Summer Mass Schedule at the Shrine
Mass will be held in the Shrine Chapel at 1:30 p.m. every Sunday starting on the first Sunday after Memorial Day and ending on the first Sunday of September.
Weddings
The Shrine of St. Therese is owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Juneau. It is our pleasure and joy to share this Holy Place of Spiritual worship with individuals, couples, and groups who maintain the Spirit of the Shrine. Christians view marriage as a sacred covenant, a dimension of their religious faith that involves God as much as the love between husband and wife. As such, we celebrate the sacramental exchange of vows in a "Holy Place", that is, a special space designated and consecrated by the faith community for the worship of God. Personal Retreats
Many persons find that they are looking for a special place to make a private retreat and the Shrine is one of these places. Individuals may make personal retreats at the Shrine by reserving one of the following facilities: the Hermitage, LeVasseur Cabin, Post Office Cabin or Little Flower Retreat.
