Since
1964 it has been the custom for the Holy Father to preside at the concluding Mass
of the International Eucharistic Congress.
Pope Benedict
XVI has expressed his desire to come to Quebec in 2008.
He is expected to make a definitive decision whether or not to come to the Congress
by the end of 2007.
